What are chia seeds? 

Chia seeds are small seeds that grow on a flowering plant called ‘Salvia Hispanica‘ which is native to central and southern America. Chia seeds have many nutritional benefits such as being full of essential amino acids, and an excellent plant-based source of Omega-3. When ingested, chia seeds form a 'gel' in the stomach which leads to a sustained release of energy.
